ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

ELINOR TEELE remembers playing with point and shoots early on, but says the ground shifted when she "had what passes for a quarter-life crisis and announced that I would be quitting my job, blowing my savings on plane tickets, and going walkabout." She works in both color and black and white and harbors a special fondness for water, unusual angles, the minutiae of nature, and neglected or solitary signs of man.
