ABOUT THE ARTIST

CAROLYN CHO is a painter who recently returned to New York after spending a year and a half in South Korea. She paints exaggerated portraits or portions of the human body in colors that provide a stark contrast between the intense, candy-shop hues and the somber subject matter.
