April 2008
Dear Reader:
Welcome to the fifth issue of Brink. In an effort to rival the fresh spring weather, our latest issue brings you photography spanning the East Coast, from New York City to Havana, and fiction ranging from the tragic love story of a laborer in Queens to the delightful tale of a young urban writer who moves to the countryside.
In this issue we feature poetry by Alan King, David LaBounty, and Joshua Diamond. We're also proud to showcase work by Thomas Lee, winner of the 2005 Best Short Story Prize for a story published in the Nassau Review, and Edgar Award-winning playwright and novelist Laurence Klavan.
Thank you for reading. We hope you enjoy.
Sincerely,
Sol Park
